The Hurd dissector is a special instrument used to grasp and manipulate the tonsils during tonsillectomies. The instrument has two different tips for this purpose. The hook-shaped tip is ideal for firm gripping of the tonsils and the spoon-shaped tip for secure manipulation. In addition, the elongated profile of the dissector allows easy insertion into hard-to-reach areas. The product is made of high quality stainless steel with a matt finish.
