The Museux forceps (also known as Culiper) are a special gynaecological instrument for grasping soft tissue in the pelvis and exploring the surgical site during hysterectomy, oophorectomy, amniotomy and other procedures. For this purpose, the instrument is equipped with 2x2 jaws with overlapping teeth to ensure a secure grip. The forceps are equipped with finger rings to reduce the risk of accidental slippage and a ratchet mechanism between the rings allows different levels of gripping force to be applied. They are made of the highest quality stainless steel to prevent corrosion. Multiple sterilization is possible.
