The GIMA Cuffed Tracheostomy Tube Ø 8.5 mm is a sterile, single-patient tracheostomy tube designed to provide and maintain an airway through a surgically created tracheostomy stoma.
The curved tube is made of medical-grade, non-toxic, transparent and kink-resistant PVC, providing flexibility while helping to protect delicate mucosal tissue. The smooth, rounded obturator tip facilitates insertion and helps reduce tissue trauma.
The tube features a high-volume, low-pressure cuff, designed to provide an effective seal at low pressure. The soft, thin-walled cuff supports effective sealing and is designed to facilitate atraumatic insertion and removal.
The integrated radiopaque line helps to determine the exact position of the tube during imaging, while the size marking on the neck plate allows quick and easy identification of the tube diameter.
