The BD Venflon Pro Safety is a safety peripheral IV cannula whose protection mechanism activates automatically and irreversibly when the needle is withdrawn, fully encapsulating the needle tip. It offers a high level of protection against needlestick injuries, cuts and scratches and reduces the risk of blood splashes.
