The UltraTec PD1+ is a compact, sensitive fetal Doppler designed to detect fetal heart sounds and display the fetal heart rate. It features an attached 2 MHz Doppler probe, with the heart rate shown on a large LCD display.
Sound can be heard through the integrated speaker, and the volume can be adjusted using a rotary control. A headphone jack allows the use of optional headphones. Internal signal processing helps minimise noise artefacts. The easy-to-clean ABS plastic housing makes the device practical for clinical use.
