The Tegaderm I.V. advanced paediatric dressing allows for a fast and easy catheter securement on newborns, babies and infants. The small size and the design allow for an easy application, while the skin-friendly adhesive prevents skin irritations and allows for a prolonged wearing time. The dressing needs to be changed less frequently, which is more economical and guarantees a higher level of patient comfort.
The transparent Tegaderm dressing is designed to allow for constant visual monitoring of the injection site. As a result, infections are recognized immediately instead of during dressing changes. The breathable, waterproof dressing includes 3 additional plaster strips. One of those strips can be used to document the date and time of the last dressing change.
