The crystal-clear barrel of the BD Discardit II 2-piece single-use syringe keeps the contents clearly visible, and the high-contrast, smudge-resistant scale supports accurate dosing. Oleamide lubricant ensures smooth plunger movement during injection and aspiration; an integrated retaining ring prevents the plunger from being pulled out accidentally.
The barrel is made of polypropylene and the plunger rod of polyethylene; the syringe is PVC- and latex-free and complies with EN ISO 7886-1. The 2 ml version has a central, the 5, 10 and 20 ml versions an eccentric Luer-slip tip.
