BD Vacutainer urine tube for microbiology, with stabiliser, 10 ml, 16 x 100 mm, 100 pcs/box

BD Vacutainer microbiology urine tubes contain a boric acid, sodium borate and sodium formate stabiliser that keeps samples stable for up to 48 hours without refrigeration. The sterile evacuated tubes are used for culture and sensitivity tests in the diagnosis of bacterial urinary tract infections; the minimum fill volume is marked.

Together with BD Vacutainer urine containers they ensure hygienic, closed urine transfer, protecting staff from contamination. Excluded from return for hygiene reasons.
