Waterproof, sterile protective layer: protects against external contaminants such as bacteria, blood and body fluids in the area of the i.v. insertion site and wounds. In vitro studies have shown that transparent film protects against viruses with a diameter of 27 nm or more, as long as the dressing remains leak-proof and intact.
The breathable film lets oxygen in and lets out evaporating moisture
Its paper-framed design makes it precise and easy to put on, as it doesn't stick to yourself or your gloves.
