Why do we recommend the PRIMEDIC™ HeartSave AED?
If you encounter a patient who
- has suddenly lost consciousness
- is unresponsive to slight movements
- is breathing abnormally or not breathing,
- has no pulse or signs of normal circulation, you should call an ambulance immediately and start CPR.
Use the device if you suspect a VF or VT abnormality and if the symptoms described above are present in the patient.
The patient's condition should be monitored after defibrillation and the ECG monitor should be watched.
It will therefore be necessary to repeat defibrillation at short intervals.
Manual or drug interventions also require supervision and responsibility of the paramedic.
