The main function of the pre-filter is to trap large dust particles and extend the life of other filters. This filter is vacuum cleanable and can be wiped with a wet wipe.
The activated carbon filter absorbs various odours and gases such as formaldehyde. This colourless, odourless gas is often considered the most dangerous substance in homes because it irritates the airways and eyes. It is also carcinogenic.
The HEPA H13 filter captures particles as small as 0.1 µm with an efficiency of over 99.95%. It removes dust, pollen, smoke, animal allergens and fungal spores.
