The reinforced, notched, oval 3M Tegaderm™ transparent sterile film dressing contains a flis insert and 2 strips of additional plaster, so it can be used advantageously in critical cases. It is an ideal recording device for mobile or disturbed patients. The puncture site is observed, so frequent replacement is not required.
It is impermeable to liquids and bacteria, so the patient can bathe, it does not inhibit skin breathing.
All Tegaderm film dressings can be left for the entire period of use of the peripheral and central cannula.
