The BD Insyte-N peripheral IV catheter is designed for vascular access in neonates and children. The stainless steel needle with special bevel minimises puncture trauma; the notched needle gives immediate confirmation of vessel entry along the catheter shaft.
The polyurethane catheter softens during intravenous use, reducing the risk of mechanical phlebitis. Available with or without wings.
