The sterile BD Insyte-A arterial catheter is designed for simplified radial artery puncture using the Seldinger technique. It consists of a particularly sharp Seldinger needle, a guide wire and a pre-assembled catheter.
Instaflash needle technology and a notch near the tip make successful puncture immediately visible, with flashback along the catheter. The guide wire eases catheter insertion; no fenestrated drape needed.
