The BD Saf-T-Intima is a closed IV catheter system with removable slide clamp and vent for subcutaneous and/or intravenous infusion therapy. Thanks to BD Vialon catheter material it achieves longer dwell times with low complication risk, and it is easy to insert and maintain for high patient comfort.

The pre-attached extension set minimises the risk of contact contamination, and the wings facilitate puncture and securement. Versatile for medication administration and rehydration – especially in palliative care, paediatrics and pain management.
