The raw material of the sheets is absorbent, chlorine-free bleached and cleaned mullet fabric with 100% cotton content. Its performance requirements and test methods are set out in EN 14079:2003. When folding folded mull-sheets, the cut edges are inserted inside the dressing so that the yarns do not peel off during use.
