The BD Nexiva Diffusics closed IV catheter system is designed for power injection of contrast media (e.g. CT). The side holes of the diffusion tip distribute the flow, reducing catheter movement and stress on the vessel wall.

The closed system with integrated extension, passive needle protection and Instaflash technology reduces blood exposure and infection risk; BD Vialon catheter material allows longer dwell times.
