Its unique design requires no venous compression during insertion; blood control minimises the risk of blood exposure and reduces cleaning costs.
Push-button needle retraction reliably protects against needlestick injuries, and Instaflash confirms vessel entry immediately. BD Vialon catheter material softens by up to 70% in the vein, enabling longer dwell times and reducing the risk of phlebitis by up to 50%. Pressure-resistant (300 psi, except 24G).
