Mesh dressing with polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate with silicone gel coating (based on polydimethylsiloxane) on both sides. It helps trauma-free wound care, is thin, soft, well shaped and cut. Thanks to its open-mesh structure, it allows wound exudate to pass through. It adheres gently but securely to intact skin, but not to the wet wound base, so it prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound and can be gently removed. It is suitable for superficial to moderately deep, acute or chronic, mildly to moderately exuding wounds. It can be used to protect non-exuding wounds or sensitive skin areas. It can be used with a secondary absorbent dressing (e.g. Zetuvit E) and a bandage fixer. Sterile, individually packed.
