The Strefa droplet® lancing device is a safe and convenient device for capillary blood sampling. The device has a prick depth adjustment from 1 to 5 for use on different skin types. Lower numbers are for shallower pricks, while higher numbers are for deeper pricks. A shallower puncture is sufficient for children and most adults, while a deeper puncture is required for thick and scarred skin. It is also possible to puncture alternative areas (not the fingertip).
