The Beurer BM 40 is a fully automatic upper arm blood pressure monitor designed for convenient and reliable measurement of blood pressure and pulse at home. Its XL LCD display provides a clear overview of the measured values.
The device automatically controls cuff inflation and pressure release. The included cuff is suitable for upper arm circumferences of 22–35 cm. An arrhythmia detection function warns of possible cardiac rhythm disturbances, while the coloured risk indicator helps to classify the measured blood pressure values.
The BM 40 provides separate memory for two users, with 60 memory spaces per user. It calculates the average of all stored measurements as well as the average of morning and evening blood pressure readings from the previous 7 days. Date and time display, automatic switch-off, an application error signal and a low-battery indicator make everyday use particularly convenient.
