- A 100% silicone dual-lumen balloon bladder catheter for emptying the bladder contents when the patient is unable to do so for whatever reason.
- The distal end of the catheter is Tiemann-trained, sterile, and can be filled with sterile water using a syringe.
- The proximal end of the double-lumen catheter has a funnel and a valve, the distal end is Tiemann-type.
- Urine is drained through the funnel connection.
- The valve is used to refill the balloon ( with sterile water ) via a syringe, the valve is internationally colour coded.
- The balloon's function is to prevent the urine from slipping out of the bladder.
