Details
What diseases is it recommended for?
- Musculoskeletal diseases
- Injuries
The SL150 has a maximum penetration depth of 4cm and is therefore suitable for treating superficial and epidermal tissues.
If you want to treat deeper tissue, the 808nm infrared lasers (SL500 and SL1800) are suitable.
- Minor musculoskeletal injuries
Contusion, distortion, haematoma, ligament, muscle or tendon rupture, fracture
rupture of ligament, muscle or tendon (ruptura),
fracture (fracture)
- Pathologies due to overgrowth
Tendinitis, myositis, bursitis
Bone marrow inflammation at the attachment or origin of muscles
(e.g. "tennis elbow" = periostitis due to overuse at the site of attachment of the extensor muscle of the forearm.)
- Degenerative lesions
Arthritis (inflammation of the joints)
Pain relief and reduction of inflammation in spinal column diseases (e.g. lumbago)
Muscle diseases: e.g. muscle pain, joint motion restriction (contracture)
Rheumatic pain (rheumatoid arthritis)
Musculoskeletal disorders can cause problems and pain in different parts of the body or in several joints.
The healing time of traumatic and sports injuries is shortened by soft laser therapy!
When used before surgery, it accelerates the absorption of haematomas and oedemas, making the surgical site more accessible and reducing pain.
Also use the laser 1-2 times a day after surgery for faster healing.
In the case of fractures, a "small window" is cut into the casted limb, so that direct laser light intensively promotes the ossification process.
- Dermatological diseases
For skin lesions, abrasions and post-operative wounds, it promotes the regeneration of normal tissue and helps the healing of wounds and ulcers that are difficult to heal.
Promotes the healing of herpes.
Promotes the healing of acne.
- Dental and oral diseases
Superficial skin and mucous membrane diseases (e.g. herpes, mouth sores, ulcers aphta) and gingival atrophy can be treated with the optional fibre optics.
It relieves post-operative dental pain, inflammation and promotes healing of soft and bone tissue.
Promotes healing of periodontitis and periodontal atrophy.
Promotes the healing of gingivitis.
Accelerates the healing of gum and oral mucosa lesions (e.g. mucositis, aphthae).
- Ear, nose and throat diseases
Always light the ear with fibre optics!
Use the nasal handpiece to treat nasal openings. Never shine a fibre-optic into the nostril!
Tinitus (tinnitus) is reduced or eliminated in many cases.
For acute hearing loss, use with fibre optics to improve hearing.
The main cause of acute hearing loss is inadequate local circulation, which can be due to bacterial or viral infections, or systemic circulation problems. The laser improves hearing by reducing local inflammation.
Alleviates the symptoms of sinusitis and respiratory tract inflammation.
