The Dcont® finger pricker is adjustable in depth and can be customised.
The Dcont® adjustable finger pricker is a safe and comfortable tool for capillary blood sampling. The device has 6 puncture depth settings, numbered from 1 to 6, for use on different skin types. The lower numbers are for shallow puncture, the higher numbers for deeper puncture. Shallower punctures are sufficient for children and most adults. For individuals with thick and scarred skin, a deeper puncture is required. It is also possible to puncture alternative (non-fingertip) areas.
