The Winterthur HeartPeak System is state-of-the-art technology for modern cardiology examinations. Combining the Cardiax wireless ECG system and the GE eBike III ergometer, it enables accurate, comfortable, and reproducible resting and stress ECG examinations. The CARDIAX stress laboratory fully automates stress tests The computer controls the stress device according to a preset stress program. The duration of the stress phases, the initial load, the load increase per phase, and the conditions for interrupting the load can be specified in the stress program. If the ergometer is also equipped with an automatic blood pressure monitor, the CARDIAX system measures blood pressure and stores the measured values. The system continuously records the full-load ECG. The evaluation takes place immediately during the test, so that the median curves and ST trends can be observed during the test. At the end of the test, a final report is generated from the results. The results can also be viewed in graphical form. A graph shows heart rate, blood pressure, and load as a function of time. Other graphs show changes in ST amplitudes and medians (ST trend and QRS trend). The program evaluates performance in the maximum and submaximal ranges.
