This life-size model shows the human digestive system from the oral cavity to the rectum. The first part of the oral cavity, pharynx and oesophagus is dissected along the medial sagittal plane. The liver, together with the gall bladder, is visible and can be removed. The removable pancreas and duodenal mucosa are dissected to reveal the internal parts. The stomach can be removed and divided into two parts, the duodenum, caecum, part of the small intestine, the large intestine and the rectum can be opened to reveal the interior.
